Terms of Service
Last updated July 19, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the SowGood enrollment platform, operated by SowGood Technologies, LLC(“SowGood”, “we”, “us”). By using the platform — browsing classes, enrolling a student, or operating a provider account — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy are part of these Terms.
What SowGood is
SowGood is software that independent class providers — CPR trainers, STEM programs and other enrichment organizations — use to publish classes and manage enrollments. SowGood does not run classes, employ instructors, or provide instruction of any kind.
When you enroll a student, you enter into an agreement with that provider, not with SowGood. The provider is responsible for the class: what it teaches, who teaches it, whether it runs, how it is supervised, its safety, and its own terms and policies. SowGood's role is to provide the software through which the enrollment and payment are made.
Who may use the platform
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enroll a student. Students themselves do not get accounts and do not use the platform.
By enrolling a student, you confirm that you are that student's parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to enroll them and to agree to these Terms and to the provider's terms on their behalf.
Enrollment information you provide
You agree that the information you submit — including student name and date of birth, your contact details, and emergency contact details — is accurate and current. Providers rely on it to build rosters and to contact you about the class, so inaccurate information can have real consequences.
Age requirements published on a class are set and checked by the provider — the platform does not enforce them at enrollment. This is covered in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not submit health, medical, allergy, or dietary information through the platform. As described in our Privacy Policy, the platform has no field for it. If a provider needs that information to run a class safely, arrange it with the provider directly.
Payments for classes
Where a class is paid, payment is processed by Stripe. Class payments are collected on behalf of the class provider you booked with and are settled to that provider. The provider — not SowGood — is the merchant of record for a class payment. Depending on how the provider has configured its account, the charge may appear on your statement under the provider's business name rather than under SowGood.
Prices, taxes where applicable, and what an enrollment includes are set by the provider. Because SowGood does not hold the funds for a class payment, SowGood cannot issue a refund for a class on a provider's behalf and cannot override a provider's pricing or refund terms.
Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations for classes are issued by the class provider, not by SowGood. Each provider sets its own refund and cancellation terms — deadlines, fees, transfer options, and whether a class is refundable at all — and those terms are the ones that apply to your enrollment. If a provider cancels a class, the provider is responsible for refunding affected enrollments under its own terms.
To request a refund, cancellation, or transfer, contact the provider using the details it gave you when you enrolled. If you do not have them, or you have contacted the provider and cannot resolve the request, email support@sowgoodtechnologies.com. We can locate your enrollment record, confirm what was charged, and pass your request on to the provider; we cannot guarantee the outcome of a request to a provider.
The full details are on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page, which forms part of these Terms.
Provider accounts and subscriptions
Class providers using SowGood pay a recurring subscription for access to the platform. Unlike class payments, the subscription is billed by SowGood directly, and SowGood can cancel or refund it. To cancel a subscription, or for any subscription billing question, contact support@sowgoodtechnologies.com.
If you operate a provider account, you agree that:
- you are responsible for the accuracy of your class listings, including schedule, price, location, age requirements and capacity;
- you will deliver the classes you publish, and will handle cancellations and refunds for them under your own stated terms;
- you are responsible for the safety and supervision of students at your classes, and for holding any licence, certification, accreditation or insurance your activity requires;
- you will handle guardian and student information you receive lawfully, use it only to run your classes and communicate about them, and not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing;
- you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false information, or enroll a student you are not authorized to enroll;
- attempt to access accounts, enrollments, or data belonging to another user or another provider;
- probe, scan, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on the platform, or attempt to circumvent its security or access controls;
- scrape or bulk-extract data from the platform, or use it to build a competing dataset;
- use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Content and intellectual property
The platform, its software, and its design are owned by SowGood and its licensors. These Terms grant you permission to use the platform, not ownership of it.
Providers keep ownership of the class listings and descriptions they publish, and grant SowGood permission to host, display and distribute that content as needed to operate the platform — including showing it to prospective enrollees. Providers are responsible for having the rights to whatever they publish.
Availability of the service
We aim to keep the platform available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we perform maintenance that can make the platform briefly unavailable.
Disclaimers
SowGood does not screen, vet, background-check, certify, endorse, or supervise class providers or their instructors. Providers self-register. We do not verify a provider's qualifications, certifications, insurance, or the accuracy of its class listings, and a provider's presence on the platform is not a recommendation of it. Choosing a provider, and satisfying yourself about its suitability for your student, is your decision.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
SowGood is not responsible for what happens at a class — including its quality, its content, whether it takes place, any injury, or any act or omission of a provider or its personnel. Those are matters between you and the provider.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SowGood will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of or relating to your use of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SowGood's total liability for all claims relating to the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amount SowGood actually received from you in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100). Because class payments are collected on behalf of providers and settled to them, amounts you paid a provider for a class are not amounts SowGood received from you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SowGood from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or — if you are a provider — from the classes you deliver and the terms you set.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to an account that breaches these Terms, that creates a risk to other users or to the platform, or where we are required to do so by law.
Termination does not by itself erase records already held. What happens to information after an account ends, and how to request deletion, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
SowGood Technologies, LLC is an Illinois limited liability company. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and SowGood each agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away a right you have under the law of the place where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to tell affected users rather than relying on this page alone. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
